Greetings Kickball Nation from 'The Rock' and The Poo!
Come experience southern hospitality Kickball Style! You are all invited to play kickball for a great cause with the Little Rock Kickball Association, the Big Red Ball Charitable Foundation and with red ball maniacs from across the country as we host the LRKA Rock'n Kickball Carnival. This nationwide double elimination tourney will benefit Hearts and Hooves and registration is free to any team from outside of Arkansas! I promise you all (ya'll), this will be like no other event in the nation! A Friday Night Gala on May 30th with live music, free food, prizes, dancing and contests will kick-off the weekend of great kickball action! Both days of the Rock'n Carnival will feature carnival games, vendors, a car show, and live music from the Budweiser Stage! If you make the trip into town, I will gladly help arrange hotel accommodations for any teams flying in or needing a ride about the city. Anyone wanna see the Clinton Library? Be our guest and let's all play some kickball! I so hope that you can make it to Little Rock and that you will pass this info on to your teams! If you have any questions, call me personally and I will take care of your every kickball need! Check out: lrkickball.com
Sincerely,
Larry "the Poo" Betz, the Grand Poobah of All Things Kickball

HI!
I just registered last night and would love to play as soon as possible. I use to be fairly good (back in the day). We actually came out last night and watched some games. Looks like a really great time!
I may be able to persuade my husband into playing as well if anyone is interested? Although he has never played kickball, he is an ex-semi professional soccer player (might come in useful).
Any takers?

Hi I have always loved kickball!!!! I saw the advertisement of the league in the paper Frieday(3/28/2008). I would love to join. I just have a few questions though. What all do I need to pay other than the registration fee and can you give me the price for that as well? Once I register will someone call me to help place me on a team? I would really like to join and start asap so please email me at TiffanyPrater@hotmail.com and explain the process to me please and thank you. |

We are thinking about joining Kickball this spring and we have some questions. (by the way there is no one listed under contacts)
1) how does RSAK differ from playground kickball?
2) do we join a team or start our own?
3) how often are games and practices?
4) we got a kid, so he will have to come with us occasionaly (Always), is this a sport he can safely spectate?
5) if we got a bunch of our friends with kids to join with us would it rain on the parade? cause if i were say on a team with a bunch of other people with kids, the other parents could watch my kid while i play, which would be good for me.
5) what's the difference between the member fee and the team fee?
6) is there anything else i need to know?
i also sent this to the myspace page, before i saw that it is no longer being updated. |
